Designers’ Breakfast at Mitchell Gold and Bob Williams Store in Dallas Texas is coming very soon. I look forward the trip to Dallas and mingle with Designers. I will move my interior design firm to Dallas by end of year. I thoroughly enjoy living in Nashville the last three years and always will cherish the memories.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010!
Jeffrey is a big believer in supporting local businesses. It is fun to trek all over Nashville, and to visit local businesses to check out their inventory. We wanted to give you a look inside some of our favorite local showrooms to buy furnishings. We truly believe in supporting local businesses and Nashville has some of the best, hands down. Now you can get a sneak peek at all that Nashville has to offer without having to leave your house!
Here is our first episode of the web series: Check out the beautiful showroom at Mitchell Gold and Bob Williams. Click the video on the right to view the episode and read more in our blog!
What a Transformation! Check out this bedroom:
Before – Office/Bedroom

After – Modern Classic Retro Bedroom

The bedroom was designed with tone on tone, blue and brown. The design is modern classic retro. This platform bed has legs and, amazingly, the headboard has several compartments for storage.

Color is universal. Color can attract your attention, create a scene and draw an emotion. It defines our lives, how we feel and who we are.
Color is personal. One of the most important decisions you’ll make when decorating your home is the color. The use of colors inside your home should emulate your personality and compliment the purpose of each room.
Color is you. Throughout your home, color represents who you are. Every surface, every color, every fabric – it’s all about you!

BEFORE PICTURE

AFTER PICTURE:
I love the challenge of this room. The client wanted to be able to sit and look out while reading or relaxing and keep the open flow for easy walk through. The room is so airy and full of sun. I wanted to enchance with rich colors using orange color for the wall and red color for the ceiling. The two chaise lounges from Mitchell Gold and Bob Williams, one with left arm and one with right arm, were positioned side-by-side. The vibrant orange bench is placed in front of the fireplace for extra seating.

Modern Master Bedroom
PLEASE SEND YOUR COMMENTS:
The Beautiful master bedroom in a High Rise Condo compliments the unique furniture pieces. The lovely modern glamour Bryant bed in zebrawood veneer surrounded with the modern glamour end tables from Ethan Allen. On the end table displays the elegant ceramic Rubix lamp with polished nickel base from Mitchell Gold and Bob Williams. The inspired Yumiko by classic Asian style armoire from Room and Board and handcrafted from highly sustainable bamboo, the armoire’s bi-fold doors save on space. The artwork by Jeffrey Johnson with Jeffrey Design was inspired to bring all of the colors chosen for the lovely modern bedroom.
